According to company’s analysts, 40% is typical. Delivering savings like these has allowed offshore companies to do well over the past years. The reason is the offshore companies can deliver the same intellectual capital as their domestic counterparts. Indeed, you can find PhD-level people anywhere in the world these days, because talent knows no boundaries.
Overall, there are many advantages to doing offshore development. In the business case for offshore outsourcing it's important to consider cut of development cost, augmenting skill sets, time to market and opportunity cost, and around-the-clock development capability.
