The ever-increasing sophistication of cyber criminals forces Retail, Banking, Travel, Insurance and other customer-related industries to utilize fraud detection software. By leveraging machine learning and data science, Next Caller helps identify suspicious interactions in real time and protects businesses from fraud.
A beautiful smile should be affordable and convenient for anyone. However, the cost of invisible aligners and multiple visits to the dentist can be discouraging. Orthly revolutionizes this process. By communicating with its users via a mobile app, Orthly provides affordable doctor-prescribed Invisalign treatments.
Financial Services: Ripple
Funding: $93.6 million

Gametime is a mobile app designed to buy “last-minute tickets at the best price in seconds” across the United States and Canada. Within 9 seconds, Gametime allows users to buy/sell a ticket even if a game has already started. The app even provides a panoramic view from the selected seats prior to purchase.
Interior Design: Laurel & Wolf
Total Funding: $25.5 million
Everyone wants to live in a beautifully designed and furnished place, but not everyone can afford to hire an interior designer. Laurel & Wolf is one of the interior design companies making the process of hiring top designers more affordable. A complete room “makeover” is designed online and the customer receives a shopping list with items that can be ordered right on the website. The pricing model includes three packages starting from $79 per room.
3D Printing: Desktop Metal
Finding: $211.7 million
Desktop Metal offers affordable 3D metal printing for engineers. Their Studio System is priced at $120k, which is 10x less expensive than those already on the market. The Production System is designed for mass production of complex metal parts. Both solutions are significantly lowering the cost for producing metal objects.
Autonomous Vehicles: DeepMap
Total Funding: $32 million
Self-driving cars are becoming reality. Apart from such giants like Uber, Tesla, Google and General Motors, a number of other tech startups have achieved success in autonomous driving technology. DeepMap creates HD maps that help “handle sensor failures and challenging environmental conditions”. This promising service aims to provide real-time data on car location, road surroundings, and overall driving conditions.
