Braavo: Financing the mobile apps of tomorrow

Braavo creates a web solution designed for alternative financing for the needs of mobile app businesses. Both newly released and top-ranking applications leverage Braavo's platform, which offers a flexible financial alternative to the traditional sources of capital.


Braavo engaged with iTechArt to architect a cloud-based system that utilizes the power of data and built-in analytics capabilities to help understand clients’ needs in real-time and deliver innovative and founder-friendly financing solutions.


iTechArt built a senior engineering team that created from scratch a system that integrates with a mobile app business’s key data systems, including app store and analytics accounts, to examine metrics like user growth, revenue, marketing performance and engagement. This data is used for performance modeling and analysis, based on which the amount of funding is calculated. The system enables funding to be delivered in days, requiring no extensive due diligence, personal credit checks, or personal guarantees from the founders.


  • Designed and deployed a cloud-based, highly scalable infrastructure of the platform and set up user roles and permissions to manage the system.
  • Created an admin panel for Braavo managers for seamless credit scoring and funding allocation.
  • Developed a distributed module for collecting analytics data from third-party providers, including Apple AppStore, Google Play, Facebook and Google Ads, for further storing and processing.
  • Developed a module for calculating and providing analytics to mobile app developers. This data includes sales, user acquisition costs, and engagement metrics like retention and LTV.
  • Ran ongoing manual testing to ensure system stability.

Besides sophisticated business logic and data processing pipelines, the iTechArt team provisioned a complex well-architected AWS infrastructure, including:

  • Set up user roles and permissions to control access to AWS services using Amazon IAM.
  • Configured security groups, introducing VPC with security groups to strictly enforce access and security restrictions between service layers.
  • Deployed a scalable, highly available and fault-tolerant infrastructure to orchestrate numerous ETL flows and run funding products on top of collected data.
  • Containerized the application while adding another layer of security and allowing for easy blue-green deployments.
  • Leveraged scaled and easily configurable DNS, CDN, and load balancing solutions to go public fearlessly.
  • Made heavy use of out-of-the-box AWS monitoring and added necessary logging and set up alarms.
